AC. Montessori Kids is a bilingual French/English school. Each class has two or three teachers, one of whom is English-speaking, the other French-speaking. Both are native speakers and teach in their own language. The school will have three classrooms in September 2001 : one class for children aged 18 months to 3 years, a second for children aged from 3 to 5 years and the third for children aged from 5 to 9 years old. The low teacher/student ratio allows for individualized learning, enabling each child to work at his own pace. Activities promote the development of social skills, emotional growth and physical coordination, and are geared to help each child reach his/her full potential. Additional weekly activities include individual piano lesson, art and craft classes and swimming lessons. The school, housed in a large villa in rural Lasne, offers large and bright classrooms opening up to a vast garden/playground. Furthermore AC. MONTESSORI KIDS is approved by the Belgian youth authority 0.N.E., which means that school fees for children up to 3 years are tax-deductible. AC. Montessori Kids is a private school and the tuition fees vary according to the programme selected. In case of mid-tertn enrolment, the fees will be prorated to cover the remaining months. Payment by monthly instalments is possible. |
